East Alabama Medical Center is a fully accredited facility in Hospital and Laboratory programs under The Joint Commission (TJC). EAMC has been continuously accredited since 1959.

www.jointcommission.org and click on Quality CheckTM, which allows you to check up on hospital performance by reviewing the latest quality report.

Should individuals or staff members have any concerns or questions about the quality of care or safety within EAMC, they may call 334-528-1441. If the issue cannot be resolved at this level, they may contact The Joint Commission at 1-800-994-6610, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST Monday – Friday. You may submit your name and contact information or you may submit your concern anonymously. There will be no adverse actions taken against anyone for having reported concerns.
