The Patient & Family Experience

Through the years EAMC has been working to advance a culture of patient and family centered care. This is a culture that recognizes and honors that the “voice of the patient and family” must not only be heard, but, also integrated into the way we deliver care. The patient and family experience is built on mutual respect, preserving the dignity of the person in our care, collaboration, and effective communication and information sharing.

Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

In January 2016, EAMC and EAMC-Lanier created an advisory group of former patients and/or family members who have an interest and passion for continuously improving the delivery of care at our facilities. This group brings the “voice of the customer” to the table as partners with our leadership, care provider staff, and physicians. We are working together to create an exceptional care experience providing the right care, at the right time and in the best possible setting.

The advisory council meets once/month, for 2 hours during the early evening hours.
