Michael R. Manogue, M.D., has joined the team at Pinnacle Cardiovascular Associates at the Bent Creek location in Auburn. Dr. Manogue received his medical degree from The University of South Alabama College of Medicine where he was awarded the Clyde Huggins Medical Student Research Award and graduated with research honors. He completed his residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and his fellowships at Emory University in cardiovascular disease and clinical electrophysiology. During his time at Wake Forest, Dr. Manogue was honored with the Upper Level Resident Award and served as a chief resident in internal medicine. At Emory, he was selected as a chief fellow in cardiology in his final year. Dr. Manogue is EAMC’s only cardiac electrophysiologist.
Dr. Manogue is married to Erica P. Manogue, M.D., an OB/GYN who will be joining Lee Obstetrics & Gynecology in August. They have three children, Cecilia (age 6), Penelope (age 2), and Alfie (age 4 months). “I am very excited to bring the skills I have learned in fellowship to fill the need for a cardiac electrophysiologist in the Auburn/Opelika area,” Dr. Manogue says. “My wife Erica and I can’t wait to raise our family in the area and become a part of the local community.”
