Prepared Childbirth Class
This is an 8-hour childbirth preparation course (4 weeknights or 1 Saturday) providing valuable information for expectant parents.
- Helps parents-to-be prepare for the birth of their baby, both physically and emotionally. It discusses what happens during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and post-partum.
- Explains the anatomy of the reproductive system and the physiology of labor and delivery.
- Teaches relaxation and breathing techniques for use during labor and delivery.
- Informs expectant parents of various medical interventions, including pain management, hospital procedures, and some variations of labor and delivery.
IMPORTANT: This class is limited to 10 couples, so early registration is important. The class should be completed before the start of your 8th month of pregnancy. Please be sure to bring 2 pillows to the first session.
